The soul of Northern Portugal: where granite streets meet the golden light of the Douro.

️ Walk with me through my Porto
Walk with me through my Porto: the city where I was born, in Porto, Portugal and that will always be my home. In this video, we explore some of the most iconic and beautiful spots in Porto: the colorful Ribeira, the elegant Rua das Flores, the lively Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, and the stunning Palácio da Bolsa. It’s not just a cultural tour: it’s a glimpse of daily life, with music, restaurants and stories around every corner. You’ll also catch the unique Porto sense of humor in my “Porto Dictionary”.

Foz do Porto · Sea, walking & local life
Join me as I explore Foz do Porto, one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas of the city. This walk takes you along the Atlantic coast, through places where locals come to slow down, breathe, and connect with the sea.
Along the way, I visit several spots worth discovering, such as the Pérgola da Foz, the iconic Castelo do Queijo, the Farolim de Felgueiras, the Jardim do Passeio Alegre, the Parque da Cidade, and other seaside areas that many tourists don’t explore as often.
This isn’t about rushing through landmarks. It’s about walking, observing, feeling the Atlantic energy, and discovering a calmer, more authentic side of Porto beyond the historic centre.
Vila Nova de Gaia: Ribeira, Serra do Pilar & Jardim do Morro
In this video, I take you with me to Vila Nova de Gaia, part of the Greater Porto area and home to some of the best panoramic views over the Douro River and Porto’s historic centre. We start at Serra do Pilar, one of the most iconic viewpoints in the region, then head down to Jardim do Morro, a local favourite with breathtaking views over the river and the Luís I Bridge. From there, we continue to Gaia Ribeira, walking along the riverside, exploring what to do in this area and how it has transformed over the years.
To finish the route, I take the Gaia cable car back up to Jardim do Morro, closing the loop and showing an easy, scenic way to move between the riverside and the viewpoints above. Throughout the video, I share practical tips for visiting Gaia, how to get around, and why this side of the river is much more than just port wine cellars.

Clérigos Tower & the hidden past beneath
Join me as I visit the iconic Clérigos Tower, but not just to admire its beauty. I reveal the dark and surprising past of the very ground it stands on, once known as Campo da Cossôa. We also explore Praça de Lisboa and the former Court of Appeal (Tribunal da Relação), where the famed writer Camilo Castelo Branco was imprisoned. This isn’t only about monuments: it’s about the hidden stories beneath Porto’s streets: tragic, romantic, unforgettable.
A walk through Porto with real locals
A very special tour through some of Porto’s most meaningful places, not just as a visitor, but through the eyes of someone who grew up here, and with my uncle, who knows the city’s stories like no one else. We visit Avenida dos Aliados, the beautiful São Bento Station, the heart of the city at Bolhão Market, the historic Igreja da Lapa, and the impressive Porto Cathedral (Sé). You’ll hear surprising facts at the Luís I Bridge and see Serra do Pilar, from where a cannon was once fired during a 19th-century civil war. A mix of history, local insights and deep love for the city.
Crystal Palace: memory, dance & heritage
Visit the Crystal Palace in Porto, what still exists today: gardens, pavilion, chapel, museum, library and the stunning view over the Douro and what can no longer be seen: the majestic original palace, brought to life through memories, recreated images and the testimony of someone who danced there. This video is also a living tribute: my 103-year-old grandmother shares her memories of the grand balls once held inside. In the end, I explain the palace’s history, from construction to controversial demolition, and reflect on its cultural and emotional meaning for the city.
